Pendleton Directors’ Reserve is an ultra-premium 20 years old blended Canadian whisky created in honour of the Directors of the Pendleton Round-Up. The whisky is matured for two decades in American oak barrels and then brought to bottling strength with glacier-fed spring water from Oregon’s Mt. Hood. The presentation is distinguished by a handcrafted leather neck cuff made by saddle maker Randy Severe.
Food Pairing: Grilled steak, smoked brisket, roasted pork, aged cheddar, pecans, walnuts and apple desserts.
Tasting Notes: Toasted coconut, cinnamon, vanilla, orange zest, mature oak, smoked wood, ripe orchard fruit and baking spices.
Nose: Toasted coconut, freshly grated cinnamon, oak, vanilla and orange zest.
Palate: Toasted oak and smoked wood with ripe apples, pears and bananas complemented by warm baking spices.
Finish: Long, mature and exceptionally smooth.
Serve: Best enjoyed neat or over a large ice cube.
